Georg Fis­ch­er is a lead­ing Swiss indus­tri­al group. In late 2004, fol­low­ing a suc­cess­ful restruc­ture, the com­pa­ny decid­ed to inves­ti­gate its actu­al per­cep­tion among rel­e­vant tar­get groups. The aim was to use these find­ings as an empir­i­cal basis for devis­ing a for­ward-look­ing and proac­tive per­cep­tion man­age­ment strategy.

cometris used sev­er­al online sur­veys in var­i­ous years to deter­mine how rel­e­vant tar­get groups per­ceived Georg Fis­ch­er and what they expect­ed from the com­pa­ny. Each of these were com­pared with pre­vi­ous stud­ies, where­upon mea­sures were defined to improve group communications.

From design­ing the ques­tion­naires to pre­sent­ing the results, cometris han­dled every aspect of the work – and even car­ried out a sur­vey in China.
